Aviation Security

Objective Improve and standardize security controls in Caribbean Basin airports to meet the new ICAO security standards. Description Capacity-building programs on basic and selected topics of air transport security based on mandatory ICAO standards. The project relies on trainers from selected organizations: FAA, TSA, and ICAO. Audience Officials and supervisors in charge of aviation security; officials responsible for conducting inspections in airports; personnel responsible for security in the transportation of dangerous goods and/or responsible for carrying out dangerous goods inspections; officials responsible for developing and implementing suitable procedures for crisis management.
