To evaluate CICTE capacity building programs and projects implemented on behalf of OAS Member States to ensure that expected results are being achieved and objectives met in an effective manner. 

In a context of Result-based Management (RBM), evaluation activities offer a learning opportunity to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of various programs in order to achieve the set objectives and expected results.  Evaluations are planned and carried out in response to management’s needs to:

Ø      Assess performance of training providers

Ø      Measure effectiveness of training programs

Ø      Identify results achieved

Ø      Determine alternative ways to meet program objectives

The evaluation strategy will be applied to all CICTE’s  programs.  Evaluations demonstrate accountability and transparency to all partners.  Sharing results helps build understanding/credibility with our stakeholders and support for what CICTE is trying to accomplish.
